Step into a training experience that deepens your practice, strengthens your understanding of yoga, and prepares you to confidently guide others.
This 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered Teacher Training with Benjamin Chartrand (500 E-RYT) blends skillful instruction, thoughtful sequencing, and practical teaching tools with a clear exploration of the 7 Chakras as an organizing framework.
Over nine weekends, you’ll study yoga practice, teaching skills, philosophy, meditation, and sound, while moving through each of the seven Chakras as a theme for learning and self-reflection.
This training is designed for students who feel called to teach as well as dedicated practitioners who simply want to go deeper into their own practice.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This nine-weekend training is a comprehensive, hands-on experience that explores:

The art and craft of teaching Yoga

Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and an introduction to sound-based practices

Chakra theory taught in a clear, grounded way
-
Meditation, breathwork, and the 8 Limbs of Yoga
-
Leadership, presence, and confident guidance on and off the mat
Graduates will receive a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate and may register with Yoga Alliance, qualifying them to teach yoga at IGNITE and most studios nationwide

THE 7 CHAKRA STRUCTURE
Each training weekend is organized around one of the 7 Chakras as a theme for practice, study, and teaching. Throughout the training you will:

Explore the physical, emotional, mental, and practical qualities of each Chakra

Learn asana, sequencing, and teaching cues that support each theme
-
Experience a guided Sound Bath at the end of each Chakra segment
-
Reflect on how each Chakra shows up in your own practice and daily life

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Benjamin Chartrand, 500 E-RYT
Ben first tried yoga in 2015 and quickly developed a deep appreciation for both the physical practice and the philosophy behind it. Less than a year later, he enrolled in his first 200-hour Teacher Training.
Ben has been teaching for over nine years and has guided well over 3,000 classes. He earned his initial certification locally in Issaquah and completed his 500-hour training in Bali in 2017.

Restorative Yoga
He has led multiple Teacher Trainings under his own brand, Veda Vyasa Yoga, and regularly leads both local and international retreats.
Ben has continued his education through in-person training with respected teachers such as Tias Little and Judith Hanson Lasater, the founder of Restorative Yoga. His ongoing studies focus on Meditation, Arm balances and inversions, Chakra theory, Restorative and deeply restful practices.
Outside of teaching, Ben creates spiritually themed artwork and designs mala bead necklaces to support meditation and intention.
Ben’s intention in leading this 200-hour training at IGNITE is to share his knowledge in a clear, accessible way and to help train confident, compassionate teachers in Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative Yoga.
